 Terry Jarvis has visted Araluen twice so far. 
The first visit was a successful weekend workshop. The second visit was a five day workshop. 
We are looking forward to having Terry here again in March 2012 conducting workshops over two weeks.

Arrive Sunday afternoon, 25th March, 2012.

Start at 8.00am, Monday, 26th March, 2012 and run each day to Friday, 30th March, 2012.

(Come for 1 day or stay for the week)

2ND WORKSHOP

Arrive Saturday afternoon, 31st March, 2012.

Start at 8.00am, Sunday, 1st April, 2012 and run each day to Thursday, 5th April, 2012.

Cost:

5 days of workshops, including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea: $550.00

4 days of workshops, including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea: $480.00

3 days of workshops, including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea: $390.00

 2 days of workshops, including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea: $280.00

1 day of workshops, including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea: $150.00

 

Accommodation:

Accommodation provided if required by “The Araluen Valley Hotel” for $67 a day.

Includes room, continental breakfast & dinner daily.

Watercolour Paper –3 sheets 300gsm. Saunders/Roymac Rains, or Arches or watercolour block or pad

Watercolour Palette –1 Plastic Palette with plenty of mixing areas is fine

Water Pot.

Paints – Rowney/Windsor and Newton / Roymac / Rains Watercolours

French Ultramarine Blue                              Cobalt Blue                        Cerulean Blue                                    Viridian

Permanent Rose                                               Cadmium Red                   Cadmium Yellow                             Burnt Sienna

Raw Sienna                                                        Burnt Umber                      Neutral Tint                                       Cobalt Turquoise

or a set of 12 or 32 tube Roymac Rains Watercolours.

Permanent White Gouache (Rowney is a good brand for gouache)

                Quill Mop Brush No. 4. Synthetic Brushes are fine or sables if you can afford them.

I have found that the Best Synthetic Brushes around are Roymac Revolution Brushes – They perform like a Sable Brush but are less than half the price!

1 Roll of 25mm. Masking Tape

1 Medium size board to stick your watercolour onto. (Aprox. 40cm. X 45cm.)

1 2B Pencil and sharpener

1 Kneadable Eraser

1 drawing Pad or drawing paper

1 Pad for notes

Hat for Plein air painting outside (Keep the Sun off)if we get the chance

Sun Screen

Insect repellant

Lightweight tripod easel if you prefer other than using your board on your lap.
